The
Pancyprian
Official Beauty Contest Carlsberg was
successfully held on July 4th, 2002. The event was staged
at the Municipal Theatre of Nicosia and was transmitted live by
SIGMA TV. During a glamorous evening, six beautiful girls won the
following titles:

Participation in "MISS UNIVERSE PAGEANT 2003".
MISS CYPRUS: Angela
Droussiotou -
Participation in "MISS WORLD PAGEANT 2002".
MISS CARLSBERG: Valentina
Christoforou -
Participation in "MISS EUROPE PAGEANT 2002".
MISS MEDITERRANEAN: Maria Pelecanou -
Participation in "MISS INTERNATIONAL PAGEANT 2003".
1ST RUNNER -UP: Elena Andreou.
2ND RUNNER-UP: Melina Iordanou.

INTERNATIONAL PAGEANT 2002, which took place in Tokyo, Japan on
30/09. MISS MEDITERRANEAN 2001 Nicole Stylianou represented
Cyprus.

MISS WORLD PAGEANT 2002, which took place in
London, UK on 07/12. Cyprus was represented by MISS CYPRUS 2002
Angela Droussiotou.

MISS EUROPE PAGEANT 2002, in Beirut, Lebanon
on 28/12. Cyprus representative in this pageant was MISS
CARLSBERG 2002 Valentina Christoforoy

Demetra Eleptheriou Star Cyprus
2001, age 19, has represented Cyprus this year at the Miss
Universe International Pageant which was staged in Puerto
Rico on the 29th
of May 2002. Demetra has
been named 7th beeing included among the
Top 10 Semi-finalists, a position which honours her and
Cyprus as well as the organisers of the Pancyprian Official
Beauty Contest Carlsberg. Congradulations Demetra! |

Miss Carlsberg 2001, 18-year-old brunette
Despina Romanaki from
Larnaca, won the title of Miss Friendship at the Miss Europe
International pageant which was staged recntly in Beirut, Lebanon on
the 29th of January 2001.
